Accessibility Statement

SideAway is committed to making our platform usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the W3C. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML, ARIA labels on interactive controls, and keyboard-navigable components.
  • Color-contrast targets that meet WCAG AA for text and UI elements.
  • Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements.
  • An accessibility toolbar (provided by UserWay) offering text sizing, contrast modes, cursor and highlight helpers, screen-reader tools, and keyboard-navigation aids.
  • Ongoing accessibility review as part of our design and engineering process.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to identify and resolve these issues. If you find a barrier, please tell us — your feedback directly guides our fixes.

Contact us about accessibility

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on SideAway, email accessibility@sideaway.com with the page URL, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to remediate confirmed issues as quickly as possible.
